The Sudanese ministry of the Foreign affairs announced on August 30 the release D an American employee by L ONG Samaritan' S Purse after more than 100 days of captivity.
The ex- hostage worked in Darfur but its identity was not revealed at the request of ONG.
Removed in May at the exit of Nyala, chief town of the State of South-Darfur, it was the last foreign hostage still retained in captivity in Darfur since the release at the end of July of two German nationals.
