Sudan: 5 employees of UNO and the ICRC expelled of Darfur

Sudan expelled on August 16 five employees of UNO and the International committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to the Darfour-Westerner. The ICRC stated that its representative “had been recalled in agreement with the authorities”, adding that it continued his activities with the Darfour-Westerner normally.

On August 14, two Jordanian police officers of Minuad were removed.

On August 7, El-Béchir Sudanese president had authorized the three governors of Darfur to expel any foreigner who would not respect the authority of Sudan.
